Dear Charles, Thank you for John Cole Clapp's photo, there has to be a link. Mary Ann Clapp born Devon was included as a daughter but at 72 I think more his Mother in the 1871 census for Richard Clapp and Dinah (Annie's Aunt) Dorothy Cole Haywood Clapp was living with Charles Herbert James Clapp and Annie Louisa Burgess in the 1901 census, she was 8yrs.Annie and Charles married in Melksham, Trowbrige Dec. 25 1888 they did not have children to the marriage as they are 1st cousins. Charles immigrated to Sydney Australia in 1921 and Annie and Dorothy followed in 1922. Annie passed in 1946 and was cremated ( I was 3 at the time). We moved 2000 miles across Aust. to live in Albany in 1950 Dorothy notified us of Charles passing in 1961. Dorothy passed on 4 May 1968, 75yrs. In the years of living in Aust. they all resided at 45 Hercules St. Marrickville, New South Wales. Dorothy was still a Miss on passing also I do not know who Charles father was. Marie-Ann
